She hated confrontation. SO much.
"Mika, I appreciate it, I really do....but I can't let you sell me two jars for that price...." Especially considering what they usually went for. It was sort of counterproductive in her mind in terms of profits. "....sorry....."
And since Beezus had practically gift wrapped her jar, Kurumi handed over the 4 galleons somewhat timidly.
N'awww. Kurumi didn't have to apologize to Mika. At least that was what Beezus thought. She was only going for the one where she wouldn't be running out of galleons but would still pass up as a great deal.
Lookit. Kurumi was handing her out the four galleons now. Beezus accepted the money and grinned at the older girl before giving her a two-finger salute. "
Thanks Kurumi. I still have many jars of eggs right here and we might even be able to talk prices out if you ever want to buy more." Hehe.
"Excuse me, young miss...are you selling Ashwinder eggs?" The man of 32 asked with a warm smile on his face. He had been to the Apothecary a few days ago but they've ran out of stock of that ingredient and he needed almost a dozen of those for the potion that he was brewing.
Beezus' attention was then caught by a man who speaking to her. Classic Beezus smile on. "
Hello sir. Yes...these are Ashwinder eggs. Freshly frozen too. Would you like to buy a jar? Six eggs for five galleons." Beaming, she started to lift a jar on top of the table to show him.
Six eggs for five galleons, eh? He supposed each jar contained six eggs. Perfect. "All right. I would take two jars." He nodded and rummaged in his pocket and then pulled out a good ten galleons for the two jars. He handed it out to the girl.
Two jars! "
Of course. Let me just wrap it up for you, sir." Quickly, the brunette got to work and into the paper bag the two jars went and then she carefully handed it out to the man as she received the payment. "
Thank you for buying sir. And have a good day!"
If business was going to run this smoothly, then yes...it was going to be a good day for her too.
