Mika just let out one of her laughs – the nose crinkling laughs that she felt people made fun of. But she didn’t care, not today; she had just made her friend jump in the air in shock. “Aw, thanks and you remembered” she blushed as she smiled over to him. “Am I ready? No of course not! I don’t even know where we are going!” She eyed him cautiously like she wasn’t totally ripping a the seams to ask him where they were going. “Are we getting candy? Because candy is great and all but I did just buy a bunch of chocolate.” She beamed.

Before she did anything else, “wait, birthday thing…thanks for remembering” she beamed and gave him a quick and sudden hug. Just out of the blue, no warning or anything wrapped her arm around him before jumping back.
