The tawny owl swooped low as he found the student he was looking for, the flapping of his wonky wings making his presence known, not that the girl person and her companion couldn't see him heading directly for them. Oh. There was an owl. With...a letter for her? Blinking a little in surprise, Penelope picked up the letter and frowned when she saw the return address on the envelope. What could he possibly be writing to her for? She'd have to find out later though because she wasn't gonna open it now. This was a private thing.
As she tucked the letter into the inside pocket of her robe, she realized the owl was still there. Did it want something? She didn't have any owl treats. Just a couple cat treats...would that work?
She pulled a small treat out of her pocket and offered it to the owl. "You want that?"
