She frowned. "He should be back by now though, right?" she said, looking at Jory with a worried look. Yeah, it'd only been a day but what if he went outside and got eaten by a monster in the forbidden forest?!?!! She couldn't stand the thought of it.
"I last had him in his cage while I was eating. I think I forgot to lock it." she said, shaking her head. Ugh why did she do that?! She should of been more careful. She suddenly stood up. "Jory, will you come look for him with me?" she asked, looking down at him.
"Don't you like butterflies, Rooooonieee?'' Jory was puzzled. Who didn't like the tiny creatures? Maybe he could catch one or two and put them in a jar for her. Maybe he would do just that!
Poor Ronnie. She looked so sad! The boy suddenly had the urge to hug her. He placed his arms around her and gave her a squeeze. It would surely help her feel better and she'd smile soon?
"Try not to worry too much,'' he said consolingly. But even he was worried.
Hunt for little Oliver? Of course Jory would! He jumped up.
"Sure! Maybe we should check the cage first and any other of his usual places?'' He had a feeling Oliver would be safe and sound. He was sure of it, as a matter of fact.
"Don't worry, Ronnie. We'll find him.'' And then maybe they could get something to eat? He was hungry.
