A smirk crossed the dark-haired boys face as he noticed the girl had already arrived, definitely having gotten that note. Leaning against the wall he watched as she interacted with his owl, and by the fact that she hadn't bitten the blonde girl yet he figured the owl had already taken a liking to Kahlan.

Hearing the girl compliment his bird he figured that, considering he'd resisted the urge to flirt with the last girl he'd seen ~~because he was afraid that he'd have his head bitten off~~ he would at least compliment Kahlan, to see how she'd react.

"Actually, I think you're the one that's beautiful" the first year commented, a mischievous grin on his face as he walked over to her, thinking about possibly pulling her into a hug, instead just patting the bird as well ~~so smooth Sylvester... so smooth~~.
