He gazed out the window at Hogsmeade station, wondering if he should have made specific plans to meet people in a specific car. Vague terms could mean he'd spend the ride home making small talk with his broom. Which wasn't bad, necessarily, only brooms weren't known for their conversational skills.
Surely someone would find him, and hopefully that someone was his favorite.
Alice had certain people to find, people who were sitting in certain areas that she was certainly having difficulty finding. She thought it a good idea, though, to parade down the train corridor and nonchalantly barge into every compartment she saw until said certain people were found. And, though it was probably quite upsetting to all those others she had interrupted, it worked.
"Found you." Except Cactus was occupying a
whole seat for himself, and his broom was taking up a whole other. And Alice sure wasn't going to stand, so she promptly dropped down on the floor and crossed her legs like a pretzel, adjusting Frank atop her head. It was more fun down there, anyway.
