Although it was the last one of the term, it was his favorite match-up, Ravenclaw versus Hufflepuff, naturally. Not just... because of past reasons... but because of his own emotional pull between the two houses. Deep down, he knew he would have been a wonderful Hufflepuff - but, then, he wouldn't have had the glorious experience at Hogwarts that he had, thanks to those on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Perhaps it would've been a great experience with the Hufflepuffs, too, but he wouldn't have traded his Ravenclaws for the world.
And he was glad to be back - even if it was going to be a bit strange having his mother officiate the match rather than Vindictus.
But where was his match buddy? Max climbed into the Ravenclaw section of the stands, eyes peeled for a head of pale blonde hair, and hoping to not find a head of ginger that belonged to his newly former girlfriend. She would be in the Hufflepuff section, though, right? She... wouldn't see any reason to stumble into this section of the stands, at least not for the duration of the game... RIGHT? It... wasn't that Max didn't want to see Em; rather, he knew his time would go a lot more swimmingly if he didn't have to be within a certain vicinity of her. She would just be a distraction that would pile guilt onto his chest, even just from seeing her again.
But he also knew it would be hard to avoid her after the match during the celebrations, if she came. But... he would deal with that when he had to.
For now, his heart gave a quick jump upon spying a head of red, but he smiled; it was a different shade of red from Em's and it belonged to his best friend(and Quidditch enemy as of late), Ellie Stone. She was with Treyen, naturally, which might have discouraged Max from approaching once upon a time - but it no longer bothered him. Since Vivi hadn't arrived yet - or was incredibly incognito - Max wandered over, promptly sat next to Ellie, and acted casual. He didn't say a thing. No big deal. He was just hanging out. Quote:

Careful to avoid muddying her new yellow pumps, she made her way up to the stands, surveying those already present. Not a lot of current students had arrived, but had she flipped a time turner several times too many? Because there was Ellie and Treyen and Maximus and Finlay and .... was that Lexi Kennedy whatever-her-surname-was-these-days?! With a CHILD?!? Man she felt old. Giving a half-hearted wave and smile to her former students, she looked for a fellow professor to sit near instead. Sitting near Ellie just didn't seem right anymore.
Oh. Botros. Nice polite wizard, he was. Smiling, she made her way toward him and stood a moment near him. "May I?" she asked, indicating to the empty seat next to him. Quote:

Vickers was watching his Uncle like a hawk. He should be more upbeat given that he’s back in his Alma Mater after missing it quite a bit, not to mention that his old house is back in the Championships, but recent events have put quite a bit of a damper in his mood. For an event so festive, Vickers has never been more grim. Truthfully he wasn’t so keen in having his Uncle be exposed to the public so soon after the events in Knockturn Alley, but the silver-haired one insisted and the younger finally gave in, figuring at the very least it could be a bit of a morale boost after such a traumatic event. “Uncle... lets sit here.” Vickers said as he guided the half-blind father figure onto seats where the exits were easier to get to. "Merlin, you're impatient," she poked him between the shoulder blades as she passed through the row behind him, climbed over the bench, and found a seat. Oh, still a pretty good view of the pitch from here... Max was forgiven for moving on her.
Vivi leaned around and waved at the girl sitting beside Max. "Hey. I'm Vivi. Max has been hiding me in the closet because I'm not really socially acceptable. Are you a Ravenclaw fan or a Hufflepuff fan? Be careful... there is a right answer." Minerva headed to the stands for the match. She wasn't feeling like being at a match today, she really wasn't feeling like being anywhere but hidden away from all the drama and annoyance that was going around lately. She hoped there would be enough people around that she wouldn't run into certain people. Now that she had lost of few close friends she wasn't even sure who she would sit with. Walking up the stands her eyes looked around, there were so many alumni there. Minerva's smile grew, this made things so much better. She walked to find a seat, but stopped to say hi as she did. The first two she came to were Max and Vivi. A little nervous to say hi to Vivi after last term Minerva gave a small smile. "Hi Max.. Hi Vivi.. Good to see you both again, how is life outside of Hogwarts." Minerva hoped they would tell her great things so she had something to look forward to.
As she finished talking to Vivi and Max she started looking for another place, but came to Professor Hadley, to this she felt a little guilty. Minerva had on her Hufflepuff bracelet, ring, and a yellow shirt, because of course she would cheer for her house and fellow housemates, but she did have Ethan's Ravenclaw Jacket on that she had borrowed awhile back. She figured wearing it would cheer him on as well. "Hello Professor Hadley, nice to see you out cheer on the team. How are you today?" She never knew why, but she always felt the need for approval more so from Professor Hadley then the other professors.
As Minerva turned to finally find a seat her eyes set on an older gentlemen, but it wasn't the older man that made her hurry over with a bigger smile on her face. Not wanted to scare or harm the older man, Minerva was careful as she wrapped her arms around Vickers and put him in a hug. "VICKERS!! Oh my gosh.. I'm so happy you came back for a match. How are you?" Letting go she glanced at the older man and then back at Vickers, "I didn't mean to interrupt, but I had to say hi when I saw you. I miss you guys around school."
After Minerva finished talking to Vickers she finally found an empty seat and sat down. It felt weird not being here to announce. She missed doing that this term, she missed playing as well. She hoped maybe next term she could do either again. Looking around she realized she was pretty early and hoped the time would go quickly.
