"I'm not in a hurry." Meghan played with her hair as she spoke. "I just have to get home in an hour and I don't want to keep my dad waiting." If she were being honest, that was a complete and total lie. She wasn't even in a hurry, and her dad was the one that told her to go shopping. He didn't care what time she got home. He had important business to take care of anyway.
But, anyway, the deck. She took the cards and shuffled them, smiling at the woman and humming a tune to herself. Now she had to cut the cards. How you did that, she had no idea. She just knew this didn't involve scissors. Or did it? Well, there were no scissors around so it probably didn't. She did a movement and hoped that was right, biting her thumb nail as she did.
"
Daddy's girl, I see," The hag said. The woman said she wasn't in a hurry, but based on her explanation she was. She better not be playing with the hag, because Madame Hildegard could still do what she deems appropriate.
The hag took the deck and spread the cards on top of her table. After so, she looked up at the woman. "
Ask a question, pull three cards and place them, faced downwards in front of you." Clock was ticking if the woman wanted to go home...
