So she knew who he was. Kennedy made a mental note to remember her name, though he knew he wouldn't forget now that he knew it. Plus, they were teammates now. YATI wise, you know.

His attention was then pulled away from her and onto Roxanne Carter. He listened to what she had to say and nodded in understanding. Right. They'd be watching the interrogation. Simon turned his attention back to Selina's friend as she spoke up once more asking him a question. "We're still working on interregating her as the investigation continues," he answered knowing the gist of the situation. "Another more imperative case had interrupted but now things are back on track." He hoped. His own attention had been forced to the illness and the search after watching de Talone for a while beforehand.
Roxanne confirmed and then paused as if debating on where to put people. He noticed her attention to both himself and Legend and wondered which way it would go and if he would play second-fiddle once more since that was usually how it meant. The prosecutor didn't disappoint yet when she explained that he would be watching over the new class and assisting with their questions Simon didn't feel bad about his placement. He'd surely rather help them then have Legend guide them...perhaps wrong or jaded.
Or worse...begin the treatment.
"Fine by me," Simon replied with an affirmative nod accepting his place. That left Roxanne and Legend to deal with de Talone's thirst that she took that moment to remind them of...as well as complain about her treatment. He looked to Genevieve and Kennedy as he waited the move to their respective corners. "We'll be through that door," he instructed, pointing the appropriate viewing room out and making to move closer in that direction.
Kennedy's eyes were still on the one-way mirror when Simon spoke. He nodded and followed. Time to get this on the road, yes? He was pretty excited, besides everything else, to get started on...whatever it was they were going to have him do on his first day. Even observing sounded exciting.
