They'd better show up if they knew what was good for them. Otherwise, she'd have to break out the Howlers.
And just as she had that thought, here came Legend. She just shot him a look that clearly said 'behave' but otherwise let the two stand up for themselves. She already had problems with one division head, didn't need more with another.
As he stood there with introductions being passed, Simon wondered just where everyone else was that was supposed to be there. The note had said all aurors and Wizamagot and there was such a limited group there already. However as he was thinking, Roxanne from the latter showed up seemingly taking some charge in the situation. "Of course," he said with a nod in polite agreement. It wasn't as if he was going to go too far without anyone seeing as technically Chosen had had the upper hand as senior auror until the prosecutor had shown.
Even if they both reminded him of each other. Great...just great.

Kennedy nodded when Simon stated they were the new trainees, though, to be honest, the boy preferred YATI, it sounded waaay cooler. Heh. When Simon was done explaining that this was, indeed, De Talone, he presented himself to both. "I'm Kennedy Escalante."
For a minute there, Kennedy thought Simon was leading this thing because he was here first, and because...well, he just looked the part. Maybe it was because he was a freshy YATI, but those were his thoughts.
...And he really hoped this dude wasn't leading the investigation or whatever. At first he came off a biiiiit too strong for Kennedy. Merlin knows he doesn't do well with those type of people, but he quickly changed his mind when the dude introduced himself, and instead of tensing, he relaxed.
Ha! Legend really got this guy right here.
"Pleasure to meet you, too. Kennedy Escalante," he said, offering the guy his hand for a shake.
Roxanne Carter received a greeting nod from Kennedy. She must of heard his introduction since she came in right after Legend. Kennedy wasn't going to repeat his name, not that he minded saying his name. He loves his name. Like, all proud and stuff, but...yeah.
Green eyes glanced around, stopping to look through the mirror at the woman behind it. He was extremely curious as to what they were going to do with her. He didn't receive any informative report or anything of the kind. And guessing by Genevieve's question, he wasn't the only one with questions. But for now, he'd wait for whomever was yet to arrive.
When the younger man had returned his introduction, Simon inclined his head acknowledging it. He briefly searched his mind for the name trying to remember if they might have ever interacted. Though if he...Kennedy...was starting just after school that meant there was four to five years between them and likely not. He couldn't help but notice the interaction between him and Legend and hoped deep down that Kennedy wasn't going to follow in his co-worker's footsteps in the personality and behavior aspect.

"Trainees," Genevieve agreed half-heartedly. And paid like it, too. And probably treated like rubbish. But since she was actually honest-to-goodness here and employed by the Ministry now, she wasn't going to fret a whit about the pay or anyone else's bad attitude.
"De Talone has been here a long time. What do you suppose they'll do with her?"
Oh, whew. It appeared old people worked here too! Ms. Roxanne Carter got herself a head tilt too, and Genevieve clasped her hands behind her back to keep from being fidgety. Might as well attempt to make a good impression on anyone with the word 'director' or 'chief' in their job title. Or maybe on anyone who qualified as her superior...
That was everyone, wasn't it?
"Are you going to interrogate her?" 'Cause that would probably be pretty informative to watch.
Nope, definitely didn't recognize her. She supposed he could be forgiven for that lapse (today), although she did respond to his introduction with a smirk. "I'm aware. Genevieve Branxton." Quote:

Simon turned his attention back to Selina's friend as she spoke up once more asking him a question. "We're still working on interregating her as the investigation continues," he answered knowing the gist of the situation. "Another more imperative case had interrupted but now things are back on track." He hoped. His own attention had been forced to the illness and the search after watching de Talone for a while beforehand.
Roxanne confirmed and then paused as if debating on where to put people. He noticed her attention to both himself and Legend and wondered which way it would go and if he would play second-fiddle once more since that was usually how it meant. The prosecutor didn't disappoint yet when she explained that he would be watching over the new class and assisting with their questions Simon didn't feel bad about his placement. He'd surely rather help them then have Legend guide them...perhaps wrong or jaded.
Or worse...begin the treatment.
"Fine by me," Simon replied with an affirmative nod accepting his place. That left Roxanne and Legend to deal with de Talone's thirst that she took that moment to remind them of...as well as complain about her treatment. He looked to Genevieve and Kennedy as he waited the move to their respective corners. "We'll be through that door," he instructed, pointing the appropriate viewing room out and making to move closer in that direction.
