"Hello," she lifted her chin and responded with a lofty tone before turning her attention to the woman behind the glass. "Is that... I've read the stories about her. Can she see us through the glass?" Genevieve reached out to touch the glass with one finger. Quote:

"Hello," he responded to him before nodding his head at Vivi's words. "Yes, that would be me. Nice to properly meet you again," Simon said accepting her hand and giving it a shake. A look of realization crossed the older YATI's features as the former the young woman explained this was her first day "You must be the newest class of trainees then," he remarked, his gaze passing between the two and then in then followed her gaze to the prisoner. "Amaranthe de Talone," he confirmed before taking a deep breath to keep from reacting to the oh-so-familiar voice of Chosen. He was doing his best for awhile now to ignore his former classmate's attempts to push his buttons. And he certainly wasn't going to lose his cool in front of the new recruits that replaced him and his best friend as the bottom tier. "They would indeed be YATIs..." Simon said watchful to see if he was gonna try something on their first day just as he had on his and Josh's. "And I'm Simon...Simon Bennett." He was still a tad distracted by the woman behind the glass when he greeted the other two in the room, but he quickly shook it off. Kennedy got a clearer look of the people he had just greeted. He recognized the blonde, though he's never interacted with her. The guy looked somewhat familiar, but he wasn't sure if he's seen him or not.
Kennedy nodded when Simon stated they were the new trainees, though, to be honest, the boy preferred YATI, it sounded waaay cooler. Heh. When Simon was done explaining that this was, indeed, De Talone, he presented himself to both. "I'm Kennedy Escalante."
For a minute there, Kennedy thought Simon was leading this thing because he was here first, and because...well, he just looked the part. Maybe it was because he was a freshy YATI, but those were his thoughts. Text Cut: Legend Quote:

Weren't there suppose to be three of them? "You know, what I'd like to know-" His eyes flickered between the two. "Is who authorized you two to be down here? Since the last time I checked, we don't have two new Aurors." He paused. The message that had been placed on the noticeboard clearly said Aurors and Wizengamot. These two were neither. "Buuut you guys are two new YATI's so nice to meet you, I'm Legend Chosen.." Once again the blonde grinned. If they didn't already know who he was, they should.
...And he really hoped this dude wasn't leading the investigation or whatever. At first he came off a biiiiit too strong for Kennedy. Merlin knows he doesn't do well with those type of people, but he quickly changed his mind when the dude introduced himself, and instead of tensing, he relaxed.
Ha! Legend really got this guy right here. "Pleasure to meet you, too. Kennedy Escalante," he said, offering the guy his hand for a shake. Text Cut: Roxanne Quote:

She started moving again once she'd established that what she was seeing was actually what she was seeing and reached the group just as the girl was introducing herself. So, not Emma then. And speaking of other members of the department, just where were her prosecutors and the rest of the Aurors? Really? Was this all that was going to show up? Roxanne barely kept her eyes from rolling in irritation.
Taking a deep breath and slapping a smile on her face, she spoke up. "Hello, everyone. And welcome to the MLE, you two. Roxanne Carter, Wizarding Director of Prosecution at your service. And no, she can't see us through the glass, Ms. Branxton." And now that the two newbies knew all of that...... We'll give everyone else a chance to show up, shall we?" They'd better show up if they knew what was good for them. Otherwise, she'd have to break out the Howlers.
And just as she had that thought, here came Legend. She just shot him a look that clearly said 'behave' but otherwise let the two stand up for themselves. She already had problems with one division head, didn't need more with another.
Roxanne Carter received a greeting nod from Kennedy. She must of heard his introduction since she came in right after Legend. Kennedy wasn't going to repeat his name, not that he minded saying his name. He loves his name. Like, all proud and stuff, but...yeah.
Green eyes glanced around, stopping to look through the mirror at the woman behind it. He was extremely curious as to what they were going to do with her. He didn't receive any informative report or anything of the kind. And guessing by Genevieve's question, he wasn't the only one with questions. But for now, he'd wait for whomever was yet to arrive.
