Sierra tried her best to keep up with the discussion about soil types. She took a few notes, just so she could look back over them and figure out which soil was right for her. She'd chosen to a desert ecosystem, and she'd had her parents send off for seeds, bulbs, and spores for desert-type plants. Once she finished with her notes, she looked back over what she'd written.

Sandy soils drain rapidly, so this suits drought resistant plants and plants which do not require copious amounts of nutrients.

Okay, this just SCREAMED desert life. She pictured a cactus, and she knew that it could survive in very dry areas. They were drought resistant, pretty much. She circled 'sandy soils' on her parchment. She left her work station and went to retrieve a bucket of the soil she needed.
