Paulie was totally, TOTALLY pumped to see his best friends. It had been ages! Much, much too long. How had the trio survived this long apart? Who knew. Paulie could not answer this.

Without even a knock, the former Gryffindor turned the handle and swung the door open just in time to catch Adam and Louisa 'separating.' He cocked an eyebrow and the edges of his mouth hinted at a smirk. "Had to sneak in a quick snog before ol' Paulie walked in, huh, you two?" The young man said as he casually walked on over to the pair. hehe. Oh, look at the three of them.. all grown up! Adam was all muscley and could probably bench a werewolf, Louisa was all slim and curvy in her jeans and wore a little more make-up and the new hair-do, and then Paulie was quite fit and filled out himself, thanks to boot camp! They'd turned out to be some fine specimiiines.

And Paulie needed hugs from them BOTH. "Peter Parker!" He said, almost reprimandingly, as he grabbed the guy and gave him a big man hug. "You've been gallivantin' in America for far too long." It was about time he saw his best mate!! When he pulled back from that hug, he grinned and wrapped Louisa in a tight hug next. "And you, Helen!" He lifted her feet off the ground and dropped her back down. "Troy must be keepin' you too busy 'cause I never get to see you either!" Okay, and maybe this was partly his fault, too, with the air force and all. It was ALL their faults! And all growing up's fault..

He grabbed a cookie and leaned against the wall, and just as he was about to take a bite, he stopped. He could SMELL the burnt crispness of it before he even tasted it! Lifting an eyebrow, he looked at Louisa. "What'd ya do, cook these over a dragon's flame?" But he took a bite, a very crunchy bite, anyway.
