Once it seemed that everyone was in their place and having a seat, she started talking again with her sweet smile on her face, "“Welcome to the Hogwarts Board of Governors Debate."[/b] she paused for applause and then continued, "[b]This is the first debate of this year’s election. We are excited that you were able to make it today. The Hogwarts Board of Governors Student Debate Committee has been working hard to put all of this together. I’m Professor Gemma Cerulean, Muggle Studies Professor and Chair of the Hogwarts Debate Committee. On behalf of the committee and Hogwarts, we are excited that you are here with us today.” she glanced out into the crowd and then nodded slightly towards the candidates.

After a short pause, she continued, "Before we get started, I would like to introduce some special people here with us this afternoon. First I would like to introduce Headmistress Anastasia Truebridge." she motioned towards the Headmistress and lead the applause, " Also, would all professors and staff from Hogwarts please stand up to be recognized." another pause and another lead of applause, " And finally, I would like to introduce our Hogwarts Board of Governors Student Debate Committee. Please stand up as your name is called: Amelia Kaikour, Oichi Pauldine, Edvard Messer, Minerva Wheatborn, Sarah Edwards, Jake Keller, Anya Phillips, James Silsbury, Alice Fischer and Tiffany Pevensie." she paused in between each of the names giving them time to stand up and then led the applause at the end of all of the names. She was very proud of their hardwork and knew they needed to be thanked and recognized most of all.
