Sierra flailed about for a bit then looked at her mother with wide eyes. "...but you can't just stay in here," she said to her. She could see what was being done with the gas, but...was it effective? It wouldn't reactive her mother's illness, would it?
Sierra could feel a panic attack coming on, but she tried to breathe in and out to keep her cool. "I'll...just help everybody out..." Sierra hesitated then turned to a few of the younger students. "Let's go! Out!" she said, using her wand to move a few chairs and the like out of the way to clear the area.
"Mo--...Professor Lafay," she said. "The other potions...do you want me to evanesco them?" Would the ones that hadn't been tended to start gassing, as well?
Peyton cleaned her area and gathered her parchment and quill and stuffed them into her bag. Merlin was she glad the lesson was over. She didn't even mind the way they were being kicked out. She was glad to go.
The Slytherin had just shrugged her bag strap on her shoulder when her Prefect began freaking out.
"What's going on?" she asked Sierra. Were they going to blow up or something?! Turn into zombies? WERE THEY GOING TO GET SET ON FIRE?!
Then she heard the Prefect say something about helping. Just run for your life, that's what Peyton wanted to say, but...thiswasherHeadofHouse...no matter how mean she was.
"Shouldn't everyone have cleaned their cauldron?" she asked. Those were the directions, right? Right.
