Oh.. those ingredients.. yeah. Alice was definitely going to end up blowing a cauldron up, didn't anyone REALIZE? And she wouldn't have guessed a single one of those. Runes was much easier than this, way simpler. But, still, she was going to attempt not to explode anything in this lesson. So she continued her careful notes, being sure not to miss anything. Or else something was obviously going to burst into flames and smoke.
OH. And they were getting the ingredients now? Okay. Alice went to fetch all of the things, taking them each back to her area one at a time and being VERY careful not to spill anything. Because that would be bad. She even chose the chunkiest dung she could spot. Next, she moved on to cleaning the cauldron.
"Scourgify." Milk, now? The lioness poured her milk into the thing, taking care to get in just the right amount. Or it maybe possibly could have been more or less.. whatever. A small bit of milk here and there couldn't explode anything, right?
She hoped not.
And.. the burner. The fourth year set it to a LOW fire, just like Lafay had instructed, and watched the milk do whatever it was supposed to be doing. And awaited further instructions, mmhmm, like a good little child.
