Who Am I? Ern's 2460FUN
This question was sort of an interesting one. Selina supposed that the reason why Muggle comic books emulated magic and Magical comic books emulated mundane, Muggle life was because people always want what they don't have. The seventh year knew TONS of people like that. It was partially human nature; of course, not everyone did it with as much fervor as others did. Some people literally ONLY wanted things that weren't theirs just for the sport of it. There was a name for people like that...
ANYWAY, she rose her hand and said thoughtfully, "I think, Professor, that Muggles don't want to read about things that aren't fantastical. Fiction is an escape. Why emulate their normal lives when they can escape to something so much cooler and interesting for them. And for magic folk, I think we're all kind of intrigued by how Muggles live and get by without magic. It's like our own little escape into their world... like getting to try on their shoes." Yeah.
