Parents may as well have picked them out of a hat.

Kind of like the sorting hat at Hogwarts. Hmmm. Now there was a thought.

"Just don't go saying my name like you're calling a horse again." Because Mr. Tall had plenty of other tender spots where she could pact a punch. Her nose wrinkled. "Or any of those other names." She really didn't like them: they sounded like they belonged to old women under bonnets.

But all things of name consideration were swept aside with the boy's rather graceful bow - which made Breigh's brow twitch in suspicion of his upbringing. Dropping onto her hands and knees, she crawled up onto the display stand and peered down at the armored feet, wondering if perhaps there was a catch there. "Isn't the offense all up to you, Orion?" She tentatively poked the crevice between armor and wood. "I don't see why you should be asking ME if YOU should be offended: kinda a personal choice really. I was merely repeating your words about you being the largest of us."

At this she paused and craned her neck around the leg of armor, glancing at Mo rather sheepishly. "Is Orion okay? If I call you that, that is?" Cause she knew it was okay being his name and all, but being called by it was something else and given she didn't like being called certain things, she supposed she should extend the same courtesy to this potential ally of fun.
"I wouldn't call a horse like that. I'd be like 'hey, horse, come on over here and let me ride you and stuff,'" Mo informed Bree, even as he continued to cling to the armor like a barnacle. "Unless I knew the horse's name, then I'd call it by its name."

Obviously.

"And yeah, I don't care what you call me. I mean, it would hurt my feelings a bit if you called me something pejorative, but I don't mind being called Orion." He dropped from the suit of armor, rubbing his arms where the metal rivets had been digging into his flesh. So that hadn't worked, which was a bummer.

"You think they're charmed to stay together?"
