"I think a lot of it has to do with fantasy. Muggles can't fly, or have supper strength or whatever it is. So they like to write stories that attract them to give them something to fantasize about. An I think all muggles dream of flying that's why they have things like airplanes and gliders... I think that's what they are called. And for us ... well to some of us muggles are intresting... for lack of a better word. So having a funny story about a crazy muggle would draw attention to a lot of magic folk."
