Alyssa walked up to register for the auction. She picked up a sticker that had "Hello my name is..." written on it, pulled out a pen and added, "Alyssa Potter". Sticking it to her shirt. She then noticed the table where Mr. Kittredge was sitting.

She felt bad for him. She had heard that the beautiful library had been burned last term. All those books. Alyssa shook her head sadly. Many books that could never be replaced. She knew that students only needed to donate 8 sickles but she figured that her birthday money would be going to a good cause.
