"After this, we go get potatoes." Because she saw them!

Carter looked around. "Is it sad... that I can't tell the difference?" he asked her in low voice. He'd only ever really been in the library once. And that was during their final year at school. He'd checked out a book on fire crabs... because that's what Destiny was going to do.

It was kind of weird thinking back.

He then watched with a raised eyebrow as Destiny Shepard attached her name sticker to her dress. She... did remember they got married, right? And... those expensive rings on their left hand ring fingers?

And he was about to vocalize this concern when he was dragged over to Marie.

And he definitely forgot all about it at the mention of potatoes.
