"Hello, Professor," she said, still tugging on her dress. Frilly dresses and blonde hair wigs were just not her thing. Then her eyes grew wide. Really wide. "Professor!" she said, eyeing the object in the man's hand. "What...is...that?" she asked. The thing, not the books. She knew what books were. The thing, though. It looked like a ball of yarn with a fairy costume on.
He started waving his hook in her direction, though, and she got distracted. She was so not going to play along. "I hate frilly dresses," she said, "...and blonde hair wigs, too."[/COLOR] Eyeing the way that the seventh year was fidgeting with her dress, Airey couldn't help but wonder if the poor thing had been forced into this attire by her mother or father. Children were not dolls to dress up and all that - like those horrid beauty pageant things that made his skin crawl. "Yer lookin very nice," he said, somewhat butchering the whole pirate accent and slipping into something that only remotely resembled a Scottish accent. "Alice Through the Looking Glass be one o' me favorite stories from childhood."
Airey then followed Sierra's gaze towards Pebbles and proudly presented her towards the girl. "This be Tinkerbell, well, not really. This be Pebbles, me pet rock and she be pleased t' meet you." See? She was even sort of bouncing in his hand. Quote:

Dressed as a more mature version of Jesse from Toy Story, Seren adjusted her hat and made her way over to the media table. She took one of the "Hello my name is" stickers and scribbled Seren on it. Then submitted her donation of two herbology books as her entry fee. Smiling partly because she was euphoric, and partly because there were press people in the vicinity, she then made her way over to the seating area. Making his way through the crowd and totally cutting in line, Aron set his donation of English literature on the table and grabbed a name tag where he hurriedly wrote his name down is almost illegible handwriting and then made his way over to Seren. "You are going to give me a heart attack you know," he whispered in her ear as he slipped one arm around her waist.
To be honest, he wasn't entirely sure why he had come here in the first place considering that the Board had decided they didn't want him so WHY in Devil's Snare's name was he actually donating and supporting these people? Oh, right. THEY WERE AUCTIONING OFF HIS WIFE!
