Alright.. Ethan thought he had that weird chant down fairly well, so he thought he'd give the actual runic chant with the wand. Bending down over the small stash of supplies near his desk, the boy placed the Galdr wand along the top of the hammer's handle and held them both tightly in both hands. Then he started that ridiculous chanting again.

"Uruz uruz uruz... u u u u u u u u u... u u u u u u r r r r r r... u u u u u u u u u.." Okay.. so what was supposed to be happening here? He glanced at the wand as it seemed to glow a bit, then fade. Ethan tried lifting the hammer. Still incredibly heavy and would not budge. He frowned a bit, then tried again.

"Uruz uruz uruz... u u u u u u u u u... u u u u u u r r r r r r... u u u u u u u u u.." Again, the runes glowed a bit, then faded away, and he was unable to lift the hammer. What was he doing wrong??
