I guess, well, maybe another time. I'm just too angry to see any of them right now." Her talk with Laura was reminding her of what her mother had said, telling her she needed to accept her fate. But she didn't want to accept Raven's fate, just like she didn't want to accept that she should talk to her family.
"I found out I had another cousin who lived in Hogsmeade. Well, just out of Hogsmade, actually. Her name is Penelope and she let me move in with her for as long as I want. It's good, I don't even need to go home. She has everything I need." It was easy, not going back. The easiest thing she had ever done. But... but she knew she needed to, one day, face what she was hiding. Maybe they would run into each other?
She turned to Laura, "So... what happened with you over the year?"
Laura looked at Zhenya and sighed. "Zhenya if you never want to talk to me again or if you hate me after I say what I'm about to say then I'm sorry but I must say it." Laura didn't want to do this but she had too. "Zhenya I know they hate you, but after the summer I've had I realized Family is really important, I kissed Mick on a Hogwarts trip last term and I told my parents expecting them to be really happy but they weren't and for a few weeks we hardly spoke to each other and it was horrible." Laura really had hated them two weeks. "I know it's hard to forgive people for betraying you, but remember they are your family and they care for you no matter what." Laura wondered what her parents would do if she had ran away from home like she had thought about doing. "If you want me to go with you when you see your parents I will." Laura looked at the Mirror and then added in the last sentence. "I'm sorry I had to talk so blunt to you but I don't like family fighting." Laura sighed. "If you want to leave now and never talk to me again I'd understand." Laura just kept looking at the wall trying to hide the tears, that were forming.
