You need to be calm, hold the gandr with the hammer's handle tightly and chant." Her wand should glow pretty fast considering how energetic she was, Botros guessed.
Lex looked over at the Professor. She couldn't tell whether she was more frustrated or well she didn't know! The hammer was being difficult and all he could say was that she needed to be calm??? And did he call her Miss Gryffindor? As flattering as that name was, it wasn't hers and in fact it belonged to every other Gryffindor in the school.
"It's Cambridge actually; Alexa Cambridge." BEAM. Oh...but would he remember it? She didn't want to tell him if he'd only forget. That defeated the purpose.

NOOOOOOW he tells her.
Sure, wait 'til the eager kid has the hammer over her head, trying to get your attention to mention that this stuff would only work when she chanted. That's what he was implying right? Sigh. At least he was smiling. That meant he wasn't annoyed by her failure. Hehe, he even said she did well!
Lex was newly inspired. She grabbed hold of both the wand and the hammer once more and began chanting again.
"Uruz uruz uruz... u u u u u u u u u... u u u u u u r r r r r r... u u u u u u u u u!" This time she'd keep the chant going. The box was already dented. One more swing should have been enough.
"Uruz uruz uruz... u u u u u u u u u... u u u u u u r r r r r r... u u u u u u u u u!"
Once the hammer was back in the air again she got set to give the box the hardest pounding of it's possibly short life. With the chant still going she brought down the hammer with everything she had in her and was quite pleased to see the box crumble and break.
Heh.
"I told you bad things happened to boxes like you." GRIN. She kept the chant going long enough to put the hammer down then impatiently cleared away the broken pieces of the box to reveal a necklace.
"Oooooooooo!!!" And Bliss had gotten her's done too! Only thing is, Bliss did it first so Lex just beamed over at the clearly happy girl.
Not wanting to waste much more time she threw her hair out of the way then put on the prettiful thing--AND YES PROFESSOR she thought prettiful was a word too. Care to correct? She didn't think so.
"Professor can I join you up there too??" Normally she'd offer to help but that hammer wasn't exactly
light and she had a feeling she'd only hurt someone if she volunteered her help.
