Rawdon’s theory in response to her verbal musing about what might have happened if Lafay had used her power to make Sierra head girl actually gave Kendall pause. There was a reason she generally avoided Quidditch stuff, and it wasn’t just because she disliked flying. She’d much rather not have to worry about Bludgers flying at her head, even if she could use her ninja skills to try to avoid them. She merely shrugged in response to his words, though, along with Addy saying she’d just been wondering about Sierra being made prefect, shifting her position on the couch to get more comfortable. She didn’t particularly feel like debating Slytherin favoritism, although she was tempted to ask Patrick or any of the other Slytherins she knew if they had a theory next time she saw them.

The hair color thing was more interesting, and she grinned a little at Addy’s comment. “I don’t think anyone thinks gray is an intimidating color. I mean, usually all it says about anyone is that they’re old,” she commented, pulling her fingers through the waves in her own hair as she freed it from the last of the braids, then pulling one of her pink streaks in front of an eye. Not everyone needed a potion to change their hair color. “It does look creepy, though,” she added, in response to Rawdon’s statement. “And it probably does have to do with Dark Magic. She’s terrifying enough to be involved in it, and obviously she isn’t two seconds away from turning into a zombie or whatever anymore. She probably did something Dark to cure herself from whatever was wrong with her last term, and it gave her that streak.” She was free to continue those theories, after all. Nobody was asking her to help write letters.
