Kendall couldn't help but be curious about what Herbology would be like after what had happened last term, along with most everything else, but at least classes were happening. That meant she could get answers easier than if she actually had to ask the questions, and Herbology got to be first. That was even better, since she got to be outside. At least, outside long enough to get to Greenhouse Six, where they’d been asked to come. If anything, she was curious about what they’d be learning, too. Aside from wondering about if anything was different after events from the previous year.
A grin had blossomed on her face as she’d set foot inside the greenhouse only to see tanks of all sorts of interesting things, and Professor Bentley gazing into one in particular that was glowing a pretty blue-green color. “Good morning Professor Bentley!,” she said happily, thinking about lake monsters again. That was one adventure her and Patrick hadn’t really gotten around to having over the summer, so she was going to have to ask people sometime later. Not the professor, though. She didn’t think she’d know much about lake monster stories, so that would have to wait until CoMC, or maybe she could ask the new groundskeeper sometime. The thoughts did bring to mind a question, though, that she could ask. “How was your summer? Did you get to do anything fun?” It was valid. professors were allowed to do fun stuff, and anyway, the lesson hadn’t started yet.
