Did she really want to have a conversation with him across three other people?
That...look of hers did not go unnoticed. But checking his goblet wasn't an insane thing considering what had happened before. He was not about to be made a fool of again. "Actually I did, immensely so." He paused before actually smiling, just a bit. "It was one of my favourites." He wouldn't go...farther than that. The break had been good, however a tad to short like always. "How about you?"
Seren couldn't help but roll her eyes at Dash's behaviour. Was that really necessary? She most certainly didn't think it was.
Nevertheless, not her place to say or do anything.
She'd been taking another sip of water when Dash resumed their conversation, and surprised her with... what was this, happiness? positivity? Was Dash unwell?
"I'm so pleased to hear that..." she replied, uncertainty etched in her expression. Either things were actually good for him, or this was some way of making things bad for the rest of them.
"Win the lottery or something?"
Like with any puzzle that was too difficult to solve within a matter of minutes, Seren was happy to change the direction of the conversation.
"It was... lovely, just lovely," she replied... not wanting to go into any more details.
SPOILER!!: Leo

It was a long shot but the smell of fire was sticking you in the nose when you walked into the library and Leo wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible.
On the offer of coming down to look at green house six sometime Leo opened and closed his mouth for a moment before confessing with a blush. "I'm not sure you'd want me there Seren. I'm not exactly friends with plants." Meaning that plants died under his care even if he remembered to water them and give them attention.
Seren couldn't help but laugh lightly, the silvery sound jingling gently.
"Well, I'm sure any fragrant plant would make a difference. I'll see what I can get for you, some nice decorative pots might just do the trick, liven the place up a bit." Though, she ought to find something super low maintenance for him, he didn't appear to be the type to know how much to water plants let alone nourish them.
"Oh no no no," she started, it amused her to think he wasn't friends with plants, because they were such darlings and not in the least bit fussy with people.
"It's the aquatic nursery, you don't have to touch a single plant at all.. it's just, you know, nice to look at."
And after all the time and effort she had invested in it, she wanted to show it off.

Sliding into her seat she looked to her left and greeted her colleagues that were within earshot. "Good evening Seren, Dash, Leo." Looking past them she gave Gemma and Hecate a smile. She was happy to see the potions mistress looking good. She would have to chat with her later to see how things were going for her. Plus she wanted to see pictures of Ariadne. The woman would have pictures... right?
Turning to her right she greeted the new groundskeeper. "Hello, welcome to Hogwarts, I'm Healer Cecelia Tillstorm." Seeing the headmistress looking their way she smiled at the woman. "Good evening headmistress."
"Cece," she greeted warmly, shuffling slightly in her seat to ensure the healer had enough elbow room.
"Good summer?"
