He didn't think Lorelai's feather gave her access to his thoughts after all, so after that brief moment he concluded it was a coincidence. "Possibly. I doubt we would have displayed the confiscated wands out in reception, however. I would imagine they are locked up either in evidence or in Wes's office," he replied. Logically, that made more sense, although it still would have been ironic if the infected employees had essentially destroyed their own property. Ironic, yet still rather tragic, especially if one of those that had been chewed had been Isobel's. "I'm sure that Wes will make sure that her belongings are specially taken care of, anyway, and hopefully you can see her soon," he added reassuringly, glancing at the dark glass that still hadn't been activated yet. Something had to be going on on the other side that was stalling the charm being activated.

At least Simon had provided a momentary distraction, and the name correction had gotten a wry smile out of the division head. He hadn't specifically introduced the younger man as anything otherwise, of course. Just referred to him the way most others in the office had, conversationally, and any statement to clarify was superseded by Roxanne and the collision. Thankfully, it appeared Natasha hadn't been affected too much by the step back he'd been forced to take to keep his balance. He kept hold of her hand for another moment until he was certain she had regained her own balance, however, before finally letting go to attend to the Wizengamot prosecutor. Things might have been beyond awkward with the woman, but she was still his co-worker, and he wasn't completely devoid of concern.

Natasha had stepped in to ask about her well-being, however, so he stood back to keep an eye on the encounter until both women had spoken again. "It's a Muggle device, similar to two-way radios and the like," he had responded, before his attention went back to Roxanne again. "I can assure you that the room isn't spinning," to his knowledge, and neither of them had found an intercom to use. That could have been useful to let Wes know to activate the mirror, though. That would be one thing less to be concerned about, and he conjured a chair behind her once he'd finished speaking. "Why don't you sit down for a bit?," he suggested. Clear her head. Obviously it had gotten jarred after she'd ran into him, and he turned his grey eyes to Simon and Natasha again seconds before he noticed the mirror flicker clear.

Finally one thing was going right. "Either of you know any spells to make sure she doesn't have a concussion?," he inquired. Something told him she wasn't about to appreciate him poking around in her head, no matter how concerned the intent was. "It appears we have access to see Isobel, as well," he added, glancing sideways at the glass and the tableau depicted on the other side. Apparently the department head in question must be being questioned or something, as he could see her seated with the Reminisciator that had been working closely with Aron. Slightly blurred, but nothing much seemed amiss. Not on Wes' watch, and the man was stationed in the room as well. Along with a departing Elinor and the several infected employees that had been quarantined and were still acting quite odd.

Probably wouldn't feel any different though. After all, you have to have a brain to feel any difference in it.

At least her male companion was smart. Kind too, seeing as he'd conjured up a chair behind her. She kind of flopped back into it, the dizziness she was feeling preventing her from doing anything else for fear that the feeling would compound and cause her to vomit. Once she was properly seated, she got her first actual look at who she had run into. And groaned. Of course she would run into him. Of course. But, he was being nice and helpful now. Which meant that she would have to be nice in return. She wasn't quite sure how she felt about that. On one hand, it would be nice to get along with him again. On the other, she was still hurt. Anyway, it would be something for her to think about once she wasn't dizzy anymore.

"Concussion?" she asked, wincing a little as she did so. It did make sense that that was what was going on though. Ugh, grrreeeaaat.

Simon was just as clueless as the rest about the mention of intercoms and sounding like they were speaking through them...whatever they were since he couldn't remember at the moment. His attention seemed to be remaining on the topic of the quarantined eating wood that Dorian and Natasha had brought up. He had obviously missed a new development in the illness case while he was busy handling DeTalone in his own job-related task.

The intercom question was brought up by Tasha so he didn't have to voice it on his own. A question that was answered by Dorian, at least in the clarification of just what an intercom was and now he remembered. Still wasn't sure why but if Roxanne really had hurt herself in the collision then it might explain the hearing issue.

"No...unfortunately I do not," he answered with a shake of his head. Concussions were tricky to deal with and not exactly in his repertoire of quick fixes he had thought to learn to be prepared for the field of being an auror.

As much as Tasha wanted to see her sister with her own eyes Roxanne had to be the priority at least for the time being. It seemed like Dorian's feisty colleague had hit her head pretty badly and was now showing signs of concussion. Tasha first thought the other woman had the flu or some other common disease but the question about the intercom had ruled that out.

When Roxanne had plopped down on the chair which Dorian had conjured up Tasha stepped in front of her to discern if she indeed had a concussion. Holding up three fingers in front of Roxanne she asked "How many fingers do you see? Do you feel nauseous? Does your head ache?" All were standard questions, that her grandmother, she remembered had asked her when she herself had slammed her head in a tree, when she was 5 years old.

Turning from Roxanne as Dorian said that Isobel was visible Tasha fixed her gaze on her sister and walked up the glass wall. Placing her hand on the glass she murmured "Oooh Izzy." Sniveling as silent tears fell down her face she turned away from the wall. She had seen enough. To Dorian and Simon she said her voice breaking a little."We should take Roxanne to St Mungos.... So she can get her head checked out. And then I need to go and pick up the twins." It was best to keep practical and to do what Wesley counted on her to do. Camping out in the viewing room to be close to Izzy wouldn't help anyone least of all her sister.
