It was a good thing Anya had found him, or Jake would have ran right to the feast. Or, quite possibly, skipped the feast altogether and ran straight to the kitchen. He was just soooo hungry. But Anya had his arm, and he was watching her face, so that was an acceptable distraction.

Taking a seat on the bench next to her, Jake looked away distractedly. Extra table...? "Oh. Yeah, I did... I have no idea, though." What it was for. Should he have known? Probably not. He wasn't going to worry about it. He would just worry about the weird noises his stomach might start making if he didn't get food in a reasonable amount of time.
