Roxanne asked, not even bothering to injecting venom into her voice, still not quite able to tell who exactly she'd run into. If it was just her than she was definitely not okay. And why did the person who'd asked the question sound like the intercom box at a fast food place, mumbly and buzzy and faded? "Why do you sound like you're speaking through an intercom?" And she couldn't tell, but her own voice was coming out kind of mushmouthy. Okay, she was most definitely not okay. Not even close. And if she didn't sit down soon, her legs were going to give out on her. Stupid wall. Why did it have to be RIGHT THERE and SO HARD? Didn't it realize that people WALK through here?
