Elizabeth ignored the laughing heads and looked at Charles. Her smile grew when she saw a shadow of a smile. Eliza loved trying to get a smile from him. It seems so hard since he tries to come off as a grumpy old man but if you look deep enough you can get a glimpse of his sweet side though it rarely comes out... Elizabeth liked Charles... as a friend, of course, and couldnt see why Jack despise him nor why if she had told him where she was at, at the moment, he would yell and call her loose... Jack would probably think it is a date but to Charles and her, it wasnt a date... they werent interested in each other and even if one was, Eliza was married and wouldn't cheat on her delightful ~~but over-jealous~~ husband. Elizabeth put a hand to her head, coming out of her thoughts and turned to get another head, rolling it down the lane and only getting one. Elizabeth stepped back to let him at it, accidently going back into her thoughts for a bit.
