And now back to work. Her brief break and talk with Jax had certainly been nice, and refreshing to boot. Now she felt geared up to begin working again. First off...to check the lab to see if anyone had made headway with the results from the zombie infestation.

"Excuse me..." Esme began, and then stopped, recognizing the person immediately. "Emily! It's been a while! What brings you here?"

heh, toy store Sure the room was full of shiny things, but that's not what she needed right now. What she needed, was to do her job.
She'd heard the footsteps before she heard the voice... but it was all very familiar.
"Esme," she greeted, hearing the woman's voice from behind her. Turning, she offered her colleague a smile.
"I'm just after some info on de Talone, we're prepping for her interrogation tomorrow."
And any info, any leverage, any understanding, would help them crack her and get what they needed.
