SPOILER!!: Minerva
Minerva smiled at Jory, he always seemed so quiet. She would have to change that if she could. No one stayed quiet long when they were hanging out with her. She made sure that everyone was having fun, if she could. "I'm doing well, mixed feelings about term being over. I'm so ready for a break, and with all the sad things that happened, but I don't want to leave either." Leaving her friends and routines was not something she was looking forward to. "Jory you did fantastic this term, don't sell yourself short." She blushed a bit, "I don't feel like I did anything different from any other term. I guess just lucky this term." Oh he had nothing planned, well frown that wasn't good, "It's actually up in the air at the moment, I had applied for an internship, so if i get that I will stay in London and hangout with everyone, but if I don't I'll head back to the States to be with my grandparents."
Jory knew what Minerva meant. He nodded then said,
"I don't want to go either. I'll miss everyone.'' Sure, he'll be back with his family and muggle friends but it was obviously never the same without his friends from the Wizarding world.
"But like you, I really need a break. It was such a busy and eventful term, wasn't it?'' And he still had OWLs to write. The Puffer smiled.
"Alright, I guess it won't hurt to say I'm very pleased with myself this term.'' And he intended to work just as hard next term. Referring to Minerva's hard work this term, he added
"This term stood out though. You took the top spot from me.'' He winked. Jory didn't that of course, even if he had gotten the least points of all the Puffs he would have been happy. Every point helped. The internship! He had nearly forgotten about that.
"Where did you apply?'' he asked.
Someone was almost shouting his name. He looked around for the source and spotted Alec.
"Hey, Alec,'' Jory said grinning.
"Want to make everyone near you go deaf?'' he joked.
"I am,'' the Puff nodded.
"Great job with the Quidditch finals, by the way you were just awesome out there.'' Really, Jory thought he was just as good as a Professional.
"Actually I should say great job for the entire year. And congrats on the award. Well deserved.'' He wondered if the boy had thought of going Professional after Hogwarts. Ah well, he still had a couple of years to decide on that.
"So, any plans for the summer yet?''
