Milton listened and then scratched the back of his head, staring at the grass. "Ermm..." Well... Here went nothing. "Honestly, if he can't make time for you, I really don't see why you're letting it drag on. If you were important, he would find time for you." Milton shrugged a little... and then realized that sounded really harsh. "NOT..Not... that you're not important, I just meant... like... your relationship..." And... that still sounded mean. But he didn't know how else to put it. So he just left it with an awkward ending.
"
It's a perfectly lovely name. Like The Little Engine That Could... from the Muggle stories," she said with a smirk. She wasn't sure if Milton had ever heard of it or not. She quite liked the story as a child, though.
Addy nodded as Milton spoke. She WASN'T very important so she could see that... and NO she was not offended or hurt by what he said. She merely furrowed her brow and propped herself up on her elbows. "
Well I'm not very important, as it were. So that's okay. And well... he's the first and only boy I have ever dated. He is really nice. I enjoy spending time with him and since my dad hit him with a bagel he seems to be partial to him as well," she said with a casual shrug of one shoulder. "
But I see what you're saying. I just... don't want to be alone, I guess." And for once she didn't blush. She let her eyes drift off over the grounds as she chewed on her lip, deep in thought.
"
Oh well. Thanks for that. You've given me a lot to think about," she said with a nod.
