Kurumi actually wasn't sure which was more startling at the moment. The fact that all the House ghosts had been sucked into a brooch or the fact that Sierra was hiding behind her - and not in a manner that was pushing her towards danger but more like a scared child hiding behind a big sister. At least that was how the Gryffindor was understanding it.
Merlin had their dynamic changed over the terms.
Once her patronus had been sent to the Headmistress, explaining that they had found the brooch and that the ghosts had been sucked into it, Kurumi sort of just stood back and waited to see what was going to happen next. Kurumi had been meaning that they were going to possibly need Myrtle to get OUT of this room and possibly let the Headmistress IN, but with all the chaos going on right now people were jumping all over the place with steps. She was sort of trying to focus on the right now.
Thankfully, it seemed as though that right now thinking wasn't really needed as the Headmistress arrived and easily walked into the Spirit Room.
Actually...that was rather alarming in and of itself now that she got to thinking about it. Wasn't the barrier here meant to protect something? Barriers tended to mean that after all...and now it was down too and...
Okay...no more thoughts about doom and gloom and all that.
Eyes on the brooch on the ground, Kurumi gave her wand a small swish and flick to levitate it into the air and walked towards it - NOT touching it, but to simply examine it. "That's one curious thing, Headmistress, Myrtle was able to actually hold this brooch. Ghosts shouldn't be able to actually hold anything unless they were killed with it...otherwise they pass right through it..." she said as she flicked her wand to make the brooch spin a little in the air. "Where did you get this brooch, Headmistress?" And did she know that it was really a ghost trapping device in disguise?
