As Kurumi used a stronger form of lumos, Nessie couldn't help but feel a little silly for not thinking of it earlier. Well good thing they had someone bright like Kurumi then.

Now that the room was much lighter, Ness could get a proper view of everybody inside. She noticed the Gryffindor prefect was now beside her, which must have been the reason Puffles was wiggling about. He must have been excited to see Kurumi, Ness knew her puff liked the lion. The absence of Walnut made Nessie frown just a bit. She actually didn't mind the cat, even though it was a little mischevious. Better for Puffles though, seeing as cats scared him to death. "I'm sure Walnut's okay." Ness whispered to Kurumi, just so that she knew she cared.

Back to the ghosts. Ness looked up at now the Grey Lady nodding as she headed over to the drawer and ,trying not to get too close to the grey lady, grabbed a candle. She placed one in a holder and then lit it with a simple Incendio.

Carrying the candle back with her as she went, she began listening to the conversation again. It was now she noticed Louisa who had two cats with her. Nooot good for Puffles, but before she could stop him from seeing, the little pygmy puff rushed hurriedly onto Nessie's shoulder and hid behind her hair.

Well this was comfortable. Meh.

So they were saying they knew who did this whole common room stunt? And they wanted them all here to help out? Gulp. This was the end, wasn't it? Okay that was a silly thought, I mean how bad could this whole thing really be? It was actually bad so that was a silly thought too.

The pets? Why were they...OMG! HECK NO! The red head opened her mouth in a gasp as an even worse thought appeared through her mind. She was so shocked she barely realized that Spike uttered another idea to do with the pets, one that possibly made more sense.

Closing her mouth Nessie looked at each and every single pet. She then opened her mouth to speak again. "You..you're not using our babies to ...to lure whom..whomever it is.." GULP! "Are you?"
