Setting down her bag she placed her wand in the front so that he could use whichever hand he wanted for the spell. Turning back to him she gave a reassuring smile, "Here you go..." She lifted her hands and walked back over closer to him.
Ethan gave her a relieved smile. He figured he could count on her to help him out.
"Okay, just so you know.. I haven't practiced this one at all yet.. but I don't think anything could go too wrong." What was the worst that could happen? He figured it just wouldn't work at all. They usually didn't the first time he had a go at it.
As Minnie raised her hand in front of him, he pulled out his wand. Waving it in an upside-down U shape at her hand, he commanded,
"Petrificus Digitirus!" Ethan stared at her hand for a second, then looked into her face.
"Well.. did it work?" He would not be surprised at all if it didn't.
