Though, he DID smile at Ella said he was her 'best Slytherin friend'. "And you're my bestest Hufflepuff friend." Yeah, and by this point, he wasn't even looking at Harvey.
It was as if he wasn't actually here.

Who wants to mention their boyfriend to their friends" he chuckled, though the constant grin on his face always gave something away so he would end up explaining why.. and plus Minnie's announcements always had him in them so everyone was bound to hear about him and Ella.
"Welcome." And Ella smiled at Theo because really, the giggling was cute. Since when did the Lurker giggle, anyway? Hm. She was learning a lot of new things about him lately. She turned a bit pink at Theo's compliment, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Thanks, Theoman." BEAM.
The third year smile at Harvey as he said he'd tried to dress nicer than usual for this.
"Well it looks really nice." And she reached up and smoothed his tie, a small smile on her face. The blonde then just kind of stood back and watched as Theodore and Harvey talked, hoping Theo wasn't going to start bashing Ravenclaws. She was pleasantly surprised at how nice he was being, even though he did seem to be ignoring Harvs a bit. And the comment about her not really talking about Harvey? That earned Theo a raised eyebrow.
The Lurker got a BEAM when he said she was his best Hufflepuff friend and she nodded happily.

Messing with the collar of his shirt, Jake looked up as they approaced everyone gathered by the kitchens. "Hey," he greeted with a friendly half-smile.
And then Anya and Jake were there and Ella gave each of them a friendly smile.
"Hi guys, you look nice." And they were ready for food, yeah? Because that's really all that was on Ella's mind at the moment. Well...that and where on earth Hulk could be. She seriously hoped her friend wasn't going to stand Theodore up, especially when he'd went and got all dressed up for the girl. She'd be here soon, yeah?
"Well maybe we could go in and get started? I'm sure Alice will be along any minute and the sooner we cook, the sooner we eat." And really, they were all here mostly for the food, right?
"Theo can help Harvey and I with the sundaes." And she smiled over at her friend warmly, hoping he'd be okay with that.
