She smirked to herself and began writing her answer to the next clue.

That wasn't as easy as the first one, but after the second time she read it all a smiled formed on her face. Grabbing a new piece of parchment, the young badger jotted down the answer she thought was right and slid it into the slot.

Smiling to herself she wrote it down on the parchment and slipped it in.

The riddle was immediately apparent on the wall. He strode off to a corner and plunked himself on the floor in his 'thinking position.'

SPOILER!!: Pao's reasoning and answer
So I'm looking for a man. Or rather... he USED to be a man. Well, used to be alive, actually. There was a slight difference. Well there's not much here to go on. But it's gotta be a ghost, especially given the previous answer. And the only ghost he knew was... The Fat Friar. His house ghost.

He seemed to fit the description well enough, though, so the boy scribbled down right on his parchment and slipped it through the small slot in the door.

He anxiously waited to see if his answer was right. A few people had already made it through to the next room. He didn't want to fall too far behind!

Anya spotted the next riddle on the wall already. Was it just her, or was there a common theme? She quickly scribbled down her answer and shoved it in the slot.

She knew a few things:

1. It was a ghost.
2. He was male.
3. He is jolly.
4. He is forgiving and friendly.

While her first instinct was Sir Nicholas, she didn't quite think he was friendly enough for this riddle. Then, it came to her. Of course!

SPOILER!!: parchment

Cora nervously placed the parchment into the slot, and stood patiently waiting an answer. She twirled a lock of her hair and glanced around the room to kill time.

The ghosts were still refresh in her mind from the last room and she felt around for another piece of crinkly parchment and pulled it out.

Her writing was blah but it was readable. She reread her answer and nodded, happy with it. Okay. She folded it over and shoved it into the slot.

Afterlife? Meaning a ghost.. A jolly ghost. Surely it meant the ghosts in Hogwarts. So yeah, Ira pretty much knew the answer.

Taking out another parchment, Ira quickly scribbled down the answer:

And now, all she had to do was wait. Wait for her answer to be acknowledged.

Step! She entered the second room only to find it looked almost exactly like the first, maybe just a little different in size. It wasn't long before she noticed the next riddle and headed closer towards it so that she coulr read it clearly.

Someone Jolly? Who was Jolly? Pout. A few people came to mind some of them even being the Hufflepuffs and youngsters at Hogwarts, but as she read on her mind went far away from anyone small and young. Now even in the afterlife...that meant this had to be someone dead and it had to be a ghost too.

Aha! She had it..or at least she had a guess that was. She once again scribbled down what she thought on her peice of paper and slipped it through the mail box.

How many rooms more were they going to enter? How many riddles did they still have to figure out? And...what was the sole purpose of this activity in relation to Wizarding History?

Hmm.

Well, those will remain unanswered for now. She needed to answer the riddle first. After reading it silently, thinking it through, she scribbled her answer on her parchment and slipped it through the slot.

Wizard...afterlife.

So surely a dead person, likely a male given the chosen term wizard over witch. Unless he was over thinking it. And a friendly on at that. Going with the theme of the last question, the seventh year narrowed down his options, finally tearing another piece of his parchment and writing down his answer before placing it through the hole.

Way to easy Scabior!!!!!!!
Your parchment slips into the mail slot, but comes right back out! Looks like your answer was wrong! Try again!

O__O

Well... that deflated things quite nicely. Yup. She was stumped. Who in the world could this be...was it even a who?? Why'd the professor have to go and be so vague about it? Couldn't he have just cut to the chase and given them the answer? Honestly, Professors now a days were so backgrounds.

She took an extra second to look at the riddle, this time she felt something tug at her memory...something Will had told her...SIGH, this was why she should listen to the boy more often!!!! Oh wait! That was it!!!

With all her confidence rushing back she quickly scribbled the next answer on another piece of parchment then slipped it in the slot.

Psssh, she so had this. There was nothing to this riddle stuff...
Suddenly a mysterious force shoves you back and you find yourself glued to the wall. A message for you appears on top of the riddle.

Message for Alexa:

Cheaters get punished.
You will remain stuck to the wall until the first person reaches the last room.
Enjoy.
Next time remember, don't look at other peoples answers!
