Minerva looked up at him and couldn't help but smile. Looking into his green eyes she blushed a bit, "Yes that introduction isn't going to be awkward or anything." Seeing his grin she tried not to smile, but a smirk stayed on her face. Crossing her arms she tried to sound serious, but it came out more playful then serious, "Ethan McCarthy, I get the feeling you enjoyed that surprise kiss...hmmm" She couldn't help but smirk and giggle a bit at this. So did he like when she was spontaneous and maybe made a move first..
Looking at the box she was so surprised and a bit excited as to what it might be. "Ethan, you didn't have to get me anything, we aren't even dating, yet, really.." right, not officially at least. Then she put on a pouting face "I didn't get you anything.." She did think about it, but was afraid of scaring him off or something. Listening to his words about Qudditch and then opening it she smiled, "Aww I love it.. Of course I will wear it when we go cheer them on." Smiling big she wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug, then kissed his cheek. "Thank you, it was very sweet of you to do this." Taking the bracelet she placed it on her wrist, "Perfect fit"
Ethan chuckled a bit at Minerva's comment.
"I'll do my best to not make it too awkward for you," he said laughing a little. It probably would be awkward, but maybe if he tried to explain things to Mick beforehand it wouldn't be so weird. He raised an eyebrow at her expression and smirked at her next words.
"Well.. maybe I did.." he drawled and gave her a little wink. Of course, she had to know he enjoyed it.. She felt him kiss her back, right?
His smile grew a bit at her excitement over the box. She seemed surprised, really, and he was somewhat pleased by that. Not really dating yet.. ? Right, about that.. Ethan took a deep breath before saying,
"Well, like I said, it's not a big deal.. just wanted you to have something.." Ok, that sounded a bit awkward.. and maybe not exactly how he meant it to come out. He shook his head and smiled.
"You didn't need to get me anything." The boy certainly wasn't expecting anything anyway, and would probably be surprised if she had gotten him something.
Smiling down at her as she seemed to like his gift, he snaked an arm around her waist as she embraced him, his smile growing wider as she kissed his cheek. He let his arm linger around the girl for a moment as she pulled back.
"You're welcome," he said brightly as he took his arm away and lifted her hand with his.
"Looks great on you," he said as he examined the bracelet on her wrist. Ethan slid his hand down and entwined his fingers with hers. As much as he enjoyed the playful banter earlier, his tone grew a little more serious as he looked into her face.
"I really enjoy spending time with you, Min.."
