He kinda wanted to rush up and kissy!hug her in all her pink cuteness but he was also very aware that the eagle eyed Headmistress was sitting at her throne a few paces away.
So instead he kept to where was and reached out when Louisa finally handed him back his homework. "Well I was kinda hoping this was the kind where I wasnt locked out all of a sudden from most of my things..." he grinned. He glanced around at the Ravenclaw row of sleeping bags, not quite as filled yet compared to the other houses "They must've stopped by somewhere... checked out other friends from other houses, or maybe the Library, most of our textbooks are locked away in the dorms." Which gave him a bit of an anxiety about the following day's lessons.
He pushed that out of his mind as he stood, and just then Professor Cerulean came with a tray full of hot chocolate. He took a couple of cups gratefully "Thanks Professor Cerulean." he smiled before handing one of the cups to Louisa "This should warm you right up..." he murmured to the Head Girl.
Get to bed for the night? A bit of that anxiety crept back to his features "Professor, with most of our things left up at the dorms, what are we going to do about change of clothes? Or that a lot of our books and notes arent with us?" Part of the benefit of having dorms in the same building is that they didnt have to lug around so many things between classes or from one day to the next.
She nodded, it wasn't the kind of adventure she craved to be their last in Hogwarts but it wasn't so bad either. The upside was that they were here together, all of the students, in one huge hall under one enchanted ceiling. Oh merlin, was Louisa turning into a sappy romantic gal? Darn. She blinked away the thoughts and decided not to share them out loud, instead she dropped her hands from her hips and took note of the sleeping bags arranged next to each other... then gave Vick a grin. YAY.
...oh! Hot chocolate! Before she could turn and walk over to professor Cerulean, her boyfriend did. It felt great to have someone pay attention to those details that didn't really matter if not done but gave fuzzy warm feelings if done. Vickers, from her observation for four months, seemed to be one to tend to every detail of everything around him (not just Louisa, everything). Maybe it was why he seemed slightly hesitant when it came to taking critical decisions. Although he wasn't hesitant at all when he asked to 'go steady with her'. Internal blush!squeak!swoon. "
Thank you!" She took the hot drink in both of her hands and sighed faintly closing her eyes. They were still cold from the journey from professor Vee's office... and they were... dry, not smooth enough! D=

Where was she going to get a hand cream with the common room locked up?

"Count me in," he replied to the professor who offered, finally taking the opportunity to remove his outerwear and plop them down at the feet of the nearest vacant sleeping bag in the Ravenclaw section, purposely close to where Vickers and Louisa seemed to be camped for the night. Upon kicking his shoes off and properly reserving his spot, he hurried to take a cup of hot chocolate - "thanks," he said - then sat down right on top of his claimed sleeping bag, legs crossed pretzel-style.
He sipped at the beverage, acknowledged his friends and housemates nearby, and proceeded to people-watch. And his gaze did wander over to the Hufflepuff section to see if Em was there yet.

Plus it was sort of an adventure. Right?
"Easy on the sugar, Champ," Vivi gave Aidan an eyeball as she passed, especially considering he was giving Beezus lip over how much hot chocolate he was drinking. How many glasses had he had already? Would there be a shortage? She ruffled his hair and winked at Beezus before moving on.
Her roommate and best mate appeared occupied at the moment, so Vivi pulled up a spot near Max. "What's the word? Are we staying here all night? Several nights? It looks like everyone has been relegated to this place, hm?"
... the two seventh years joining everyone else was another distraction. Louisa noticed Vivi being the last one to settle in and wondered if the girl was a slow walker or took real responsibility. Maybe both. "
Hi." They got smiles from her as she continued to
gulp sip on her hot chocolate. Oh maybe Vivi could have a hand cream on her? Whatever reason there is that an Aurora-wannabe would be carrying a smoothing lotion around.
She dismissed the idea and listened to the two of them discussing the whole thing while sitting on the floor next to Vickers. Was he going to work on his homework? Notes? She eyed the handed parchments and frowned at them, maybe she should consider this too.

Not watching her step, and still fidgeting with her towel, Em accidentally stepped on one of the nearby sleeping bags that had been shoved a little out of line. Her foot slipped out from under her, sending her falling to the floor, almost landing on top the two sitting on the sleeping bag. Er, “Hey.”she muttered, looking up at them.
OHOH!
With her elbow, Louisa jabbed Vickers in the ribs quickly when the seventh year Huffie approached their house area. Shoving her mouth into the boy's ear, she whispered excitedly, "
THISISMAX'SGIRL!" If Vickers knew, he should act as if he was surprised for the sake of Louisa's over excitement. Actually.. now that she gave herself few more seconds to think about it, Vickers must've known this since Max and himself were dormmates. But maybe boys never spoke of those things to each other. Heck, Louisa and Vivi never discussed those kinda stuff...
She contained her grin and casually smiled at the girl, "
Hai Emmaleigh!" Waving her free hand and then allowed her eyes to move to Max... sly buddy!wink. Both of them seemed to be making the most of this year indeed.

"Dunno yet," Max offered unhelpfully, taking his attention away from Aidan to straight up his pile of clothes at the foot of his sleeping bag with his free hand. "Everyone still seems pretty clueless on what caused it all... so I'd imagine we'll be here awhile, at LEAST for the night, yeah, unless someone makes a marvelous discovery of some sort." But... wouldn't it be kind of fun? Spending the rest of the term having a giant school sleepover every night?
...Until he remembered that all of his belongings were being kept from him. That part wasn't too cool.
"But I'd imagine they'll be doing everything in their powers to at least find a way for us to get back in, right? Even if we don't find the source of the problem?" So maybe they didn't need to worry too much.
Just as he opened his mouth to comment on how the headmistress may handle the situation, Max got splashed with fallen snow from their head of house's clothes. "Thanks, professor." Max raised a hand to wave sarcastically at the man's back. He turned back to Vivi to add, "Maybe Professor Vindictus will have some insight."
Or not.

"Don't know what caused it. Don't know what will end it. That sounds like we're settling in for the long haul here, doesn't it?" She fell over ungracefully to sprawl out on the sleeping bag beside Max. He could shove her off if he wanted to, but she wasn't going to keep crouching while they chatted.
"If we're here for a while, we need to figure out ways to make it more cozy. The high ceilings in here make it drafty and creeptastic at night." Hmmm. He eyes drifted to the night sky over their heads.
"Hullo, Prof V," Vivi took the chocolate bar and immediately split it in half to share with Max. "Are we correct in assuming we're going to be stuck here for a while? If that's the case, we might want to make it a bit more comfortable... get pajamas for people who were locked out without things. Toothbrushes too. And maybe we can make sheet-tents so it feels more like an adventure and less like we're homeless and freezing in a big creepy Great Hall."
Just suggestions, but she was on a roll. And happened to be someone with her pajamas locked up in the dormitory.

He listened to her speak with raised eyebrows; she wasn't very optimistic tonight, was she? "Maybe not," was all he could offer, taking another sip of his hot chocolate as he curiously observed her falling onto the sleeping bag dramatically.
Hmm. That was a good point. "Yeah - don't wanna wake up in the middle of the night shivering, especially the young ones. It'd be awful if people got colds 'cause of the draftiness." Or even just if people couldn't fall asleep because of the temperature - the whole Great Hall would be chaos with everyone awake all night. "What do you propose?"
...Oh. He heard him. "Erm," Max said in reply, his eyebrows raised again. "Insight on... what the future holds? Are we going to be here awhile? Do we have a plan?" By 'we,' he mostly meant the professors. No one had really announced anything yet, but... hey, chocolate?! "Absolutely. Thanks." Max nodded at Vivi as she shared a chocolate bar with him, gave her a 'thank you,' and bit off an end.
Max nibbled on his half of the chocolate bar while Vivi and their Head of House discussed possible ways to make this event more fun and less of a hassle. He found himself smiling at his yearmate's ideas. What would they do without her?
...A tent? Made from... sleeping bags? Did Vindictus really think that was a good idea? Max gave Vivi a glance of apprehension before pretending to be busy with the sleeve of his shirt. She could decide if that was a good idea or not.
But he would most definitely help share the wealth of sugar. "Count me in on that, too," he said, standing up to take some of the chocolates to hand out.
And if there were extra, he was definitely going to save that for later. Or... give it to Emmaleigh, if the Hufflepuff Head wasn't as cool as the Ravenclaw one(which was likely).
...or not! Louisa leaned into Vickers and held his wrist, "
Let's go help! That sounds fun." HMMM? More fun than just sitting around, trying to catch up to study. She gulped down whatever left of her hot chocolate and then jumped on her feet, her hand still wrapped around Vick's wrist. "
We'll help too!" And maybe Louisa would
steal snatch a potion or two for her hands
in case a certain someone wanted to hold her hand.
"
I can help with the tent building." After they got the sheets. "
One big tent or a few small ones?" She liked the thought of several tents, a big one meant sock smells, tangled arms and kids sleeping on top of you.
