Ed cleared his throat and looked down at the floor for a few seconds, trying to work it out in his head before he said anything. "Nell..." He looked back at her, fixing her with his gaze to make sure she didn't misunderstand him. "I like you a lot, so much that sometimes it scares me and I think with some time... I might be able to say it back, but... not yet." He just needed some time to accept it himself and work it all out in his head first, but he was sure he'd say it back because his feelings for her were intense.

Her eyes stayed glued on Ed's as he explained how he felt. She wasn't sure why those things had come out of her mouth but she could take them back now. Thankfully he wasn't running screaming from the room. She nodded her head as his words sank into her panicked brain.

Smiling Nell went back and sat in his lap. "I understand. To be honest I didn't know I felt that way until after the words were out of my mouth." Talk about surprising yourself! "You take all the time you need. I'm not going to pressure you. Just know that you are one of the best things that has ever happened to me."

Smiling she kissed him again. She liked doing that.
