In his last job he was so happy that it didn't even seem like work. Getting lost in research, coming up with solutions, it was all so exciting to him. "It's good you like your job so much." She was officially higher on his list--annoying lazy people who didn't like work at all found themselves at the very bottom.

"Oh?" He could see why she'd be so offended then! "I'm afraid half the people in the lab I used to work in were like that. It was horrible trying to get work done with them!" Then others questioned why he didn't like people very much. Was it really any wonder?! "Do you know anyone from the Minister's Office personally?" If she did then she could give him some insight then the relevant persons could be properly ignored. Chatty people were the worst.
”Definitely,” Gia said, grinning. She always liked it like that, thrill without the danger of getting hurt or anything like that, such as watching horror movies. You could experience the thrills, chills and slasher moments without actually being affected by them!! True, no?

”Quite so,” She replied, a sad, far-away look in her eyes. This was how the story went: her former best friend, her bff at the time, found out she was in a different department than her. They had planned on being in the same department since they had met in their fifth year at the Bianchi School of Magic through Orchestra, so they could always be together, Minister’s Office to be exact. Gia had wanted it back then, eing the ultimate party kind of girl, but it wasn’t as appealing now. She had read about Accidents and Catastrophes, deciding that was the one for her. Her former friend took that as an insult and sign of abandonment, Gia having not told her. She soon got over it, Gia later having apologized about it. All was well-until word broke out that Gia had to move. The best friend got totally angered and boiled over, thinking this was the “last straw” of their friendship. She made sure to blab lies about why she wanted to leave, the bad kind, when the Catastrophes head was around in the food court. He assumed they were still best friends, thus believing what she’d said about Gia, almost getting her fired COMPLETELY. It all got straightened out in the end though, and they were no longer friends.
”Hopefully it will be MUCH better here for you!” And her, of course. It seemed promising so far, that it might be normal., yet fun at the same time.
Did she know anyone in the minister’s office personally? No, not here at least. ”No, I’m afraid not. They don’t seem quite that bad here, from what I’ve seen.” Quite more controlled than at the Italian ministry, mind you.

Anyway... Ivee had nothing else to talk about. She just felt good that she got to meet someone as new as her in the Ministry. SHE WAS NOT ALONE!
How convenient! Gia’s main family was still in Italy, but she had a cousin that lived over in Westminister, but that was about it. ”That’s quite convenient!” She exclaimed, wishing her parents lived here. Well, kind of. It would be MUCH easier to talk to them that way and ask them about ways to be a better obliviator, most importantly. They were senior Obliviators, after all.

She might not get a billion friends out of this event, but at least she’ll have one good one!!

"Oh, That's okay." said him cool. Noticed that she extended her hand, Dimitri grabbed and shook it. "Pleasure to meet you." Gia? Nice name. Hehehe. "I'm Dimitri Burton. Undercover buyer for International Cooperation." said him (again) so proud!
”Pleasure to meet you as well,” Gia said, grinning. Undercover Buyer, eh? How interesting! That probably would be a good job for her, if she wasn’t an obliviator, especially if it involved shoe shopping. It was a longshot of an idea, but it still should be included, right?? ”How cool! I’m an Obliviator for Accidents and Catastrophes.” She is, indeed! It ran in the family, believe it or not. Her parents were obliviators, and so were her grandparents and great-grandparents. She liked to think of it is a way to pay tribute to her past relatives, and to remember them. That, of course, wasn’t the ONLY reason.

The blonde much rather preferred laid back gatherings in a coffee shop or bumping into someone in the cafeteria. Much less pressure in those situations.

Noting the large group of people already gathered together, the blonde stepped off to the side and tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, debating on what to do next. Truthfully she just wanted to eat, kick off her shoes, and relax. No time for that now, though. She was here to meet...and greet. Yup. So Ashley put on her friendliest smile and tried to look approachable. She stopped fiddling with her purse too. Best not to look so nervous.
Gia needed a fresh breath of air, after being squeezed up in the room for so long. She was quite claustrophobic at times, such as right now. Fresh air was definitely what she needed to soothe her sick feelings!

Walking through the doors and out to the balcony, she instantly felt better. Thankfully it was nothing too serious! After seeing all those sick looking people around, Gia was afraid she had caught their ailment. Sick, on the first day!! Boy, what an impression that would make! Certainly not a good one, if you didn’t catch on. Leaning on the balcony to get a little more fresh air, she let out a sigh. This was quite relaxing, despite the chatter of the large group nearby. Almost tempted to ask them to quiet down a little a lot, she noticed a woman standing near her, looking quite….”approachable”. Hmm, best strike up a conversation, and possibly take her mind off of the loudmouths large group nearby. ”They’re quite annoying, aren’t they?” She asked, trying to look as she did. Maybe, it would make her seem less odd and creepy, if that’s what came to her mind…
