Benjy would have laughed at the fact that Elizabeth had to stand on a chair in order to pull their ears, but he knew that this was not a good time to be laughing/teasing. So the redhead just listened, not making eye contact with her because he knew that her face would just show displeasure. It was pretty obvious that she didn't like how Benjy and Jack were interacting. But Benjy was just trying to prove to Jack that he needed to know things that were happening to Elizabeth.... especially when Jack wasn't around.

Once the tirade from Elizabeth was over, Jack started up. And Benjy just stood there, listening and watching as the angry man stormed off. Turning towards Elizabeth, Benjy sighed slightly. "Just make sure you go see a healer about that bite." He muttered, obviously tired, before slumping down into his seat again. "Now go after him... he needs you more than I do."
