The fifth year nodded to himself as it seemed like a pretty good idea. The younger ones seemed a bit apprehensive and this would be a fun distraction.

The boy chuckled as Mick began singing. The song sounded oddly familiar.. but he wasn't sure if he had heard it before. Seemed easy enough to pick up though.. "Start again," he told Mick with a grin as he took a seat next to him. "I'll sing along with you.. or try to." He glanced back at the little jarful of fire and caught a glimpse of Eliza out of the corner of his eye. She looked a little scared. "Eliza.." he called over to her, suddenly feeling like a protective older brother or something. "Come sit over here," he said, gesturing to a space near them. Hopefully they wouldn't have to sit out here too long, but they could make the most of it while they did. And one of the prefects would be getting Professor V, right? He would surely know what to do...

Whatever embarrassment he had for singing a kiddie cartoon song went away when Ethan decided to join in. "I think you and I will get along famously," Mick said to him.

He glanced over at rest of the Ravenclaws, "C'mon everyone! Let's gather 'round the campfire to sing our 'Campfire Song'! OUR C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E-S-O-N-G SONG! And if you don't think that we can sing it faster then you're wrong But it'll help if you just sang along..." He managed to sing the entire verse without laughing his head off, though he wanted to so much. When he first heard the song, he couldn't believe its absurdity. But this wasn't the time to worry about looking silly, a little silliness is what they need right now.
