"Hahahaha. We look completely ridiculous!" She hoped her smile was contagious, now that they were out of harm's way. She shivered a bit, wishing she suddenly had more body fat to keep her warm.
Third floor. No water.
Good.
"
Do you think it was Myrtle who did this?" Truth be told, Nora thought the weeping ghost was one for drama, but not...
practical stuff. Like flooding a floor. And she shivered, all of a sudden, which reminded her that she was soaked... or at least her lower half.
... and Cora was amused.
...
Nora wasn't.
"
My clothes!" She gasped aloud, trying to squish the disgusting looking water out of her robes, groaning when she realized that she actually TOUCHED it. "
Ugh!" She was WET. And all sticky and icky yucky. "
I'm going downstairs to change. Maybe we can meet after that to take our walk?" She smiled only a little, just to show Cora that she wasn't mad at her. She was just... throwing a tantrum about her robes. Nearly.
