Elise rushed towards the tree, beaming widely. They were supposed to help decorate it. Now, if only she could figure out where the decorations were. Hmm. She'd just have to look, then. But maybe she'd admire the other twelve trees first.
The prefects had done a really great job this term, no doubt.
"It's pretty amazing, isn't it?" Spike said, appearing from the other side of the giant tree with a box of twinkling baubles balanced on one hip. He'd been part of the planning of this whole event, but had still been in awe when the main tree had arrived. Even without decorations, it was pretty dominant in the room. Unless you were hungry, in which case the smell of gingerbread ftom Kurumi and the House Elves would catch the attention first.
"You want to help with the decoration?" Spike asked the younger 'Claw with a smile. "There's these baubles, or a whole host of other decorations in the big box just round the other side."
