Taryn was... sort of hiding out in the library. She figured this was the least likely place she'd come across Milton, and she'd rather he wasn't here when she was trying to write a letter to August. Just because they'd dated for two years and QUITE recently broken up... didn't mean that she couldn't still talk to him, right? She hadn't heard from him, but maybe he'd been waiting to see if she'd write first. Either way, she was pretty sure Milton wouldn't get it. He had this weird thing about exes. Probably because none of his liked him anymore... heh.
It was only after ripping up several papers that she decided to use a pencil instead of a quill. If only she'd thought of that BEFORE, she might have saved a few trees. Taryn erased another beginning and chewed on the pencil while staring at the blank paper. |
