Yep, he knew it.. she had some sort of secret to spill. But this sounded like girly gossip. Why was she telling this to him, sounded more like something she'd share with one of her dorm-mates. Ethan raised an eyebrow and vaguely listened until.. the guy is you. Now that was some interesting information.. The boy leaned back into the bench, slight smirk apparent on his face. A few names tossed around in his head as he wondered who this girl might be.. though he had his guesses.. but WHY WAS SHE LAUGHING?
A small frown appeared on the boy's face as he watched her for a moment, waiting for her to stop. Finally he said, "And just why is that so funny?" Was it really inconceivable that someone could have a crush on him? He certainly didn't think so.. in fact he had his theories about all the blushing going on around him. Ethan softened his expression and a hint of a smirk fell onto his lips. "Okay.. who's this friend?"
Once her laughter finally subsided....she looked at him smugly. "
Nothing. I just know...who it is...and ..." she started chuckling again. She was clearly enjoying herself..big time.
"I mean, I'm fairly certain I have more than one friend crushing on you...but.." she rolled her eyes, still smirking to herself...
"Well, my dear friend Cora has...a crush on you. I'm sure. I'm not that oblivious, you know, and I hope you aren't, either, Ethan," she raised an eyebrow at him...had he noticed?! That everytime Cora got near him...she got all tongue tied, more nervous than usual, and....she noticed Ethan did, too. "
And, my dear Ethan, I know that YOU seem to get a bit flustered around HER as welll...so..I must know, you know, for the sake of Cora's..emotions..whether you feel the same way." She had it ALL out in the open, now. There, Ethan..
